On October 12,2022 the HOGs were honored with a visit by U.S. Representative Jan Schakowsky (IL-09) who spoke about Congress’s significant efforts to preserve and protect rights to Medicare, Social Security, and healthcare, and also shared her views on the forthcoming midterm elections. The HOGs on June 15th presented a very timely and well attended panel discussion concerning the Bears proposed move to Arlington Heights, including financial and infrastructure issues as well as considerations concerning the impact on the surrounding communities.
